Code Enforcement agents are charged with the task of inspecting schools, hospitals, nursing homes, child care facilities, state buildings, mental health facilities and horse race tracks.  In addition, this division reviews all plans and issues building permits in all geographic areas of the state not having any local authority.  To request an inspection contact the code secretary.
